Exciting news, we have opened a new depot in central London, and taken delivery of new Niftylift hybrid and electric boom lifts.
Our new depot is located just across the river from the O2 Arena and will be stocked with environmentally friendly platforms, starting with a new fleet of Niftylifts, including the exclusive new 33ft HR12L low weight battery electric articulated boom lift, which it has been specified with AGM maintenance free batteries – rather than the lithium battery option, and has an overall weight of 2,540kg, with an overall width of 1.79 metres.
Other units the 50ft HR17, 63ft HR21 and 86ft HR28, all of which are hybrid powered. The central London fleet is aimed at complying with and exceeding London’s environmental initiatives such as the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) and Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) due in 2019. Skyjack machines and the full range of Hinowa spiders have also been ordered for the central London fleet.

Director John Corcoran said: “For us, choosing Niftylifts is a ‘no-brainer’ for working in London. They all conform to the Low Emission Zone requirements and the lower machine weights mean that we can transport them around the city on smaller wagons or trailers, keeping costs down to a minimum.
